Great piece, Melissa! I’m so interested in the lives and successes of “outsider” writers, and hope to hear more from you on this topic. But I do think MSM is opening up to us, slowly. Just sent off a piece on outsiders as insiders I’m writing on spec (bc I’m not KR) for one of my dream pubs.
