I should have mentioned some reasons why I thought it was great:

It sets up as a romance, but delivers a twist.

It delivers a complex thought economically: nature distracts us, takes us out of our human preoccupations.

It takes a leap at the end and pushes me out to sea.

And all packed into a small, beautiful case.
