Medium is great practice for self-publishing on Kindle. Do you know about Amazon’s publishing programs? One is Kindle Singles, which are short non-fiction books. They published my memoir Walk Away through that program, which is a traditional/self-publishing hybrid. Amazon did the editing, copy-editing, cover and book design, and they market it. I’ve been very happy with the program.

Amazon paused submissions to the Kindle Singles program last June, but they may have another program that’s of interest to you.
