Right on. As a person separated from my family in a Baby Scoop Era adoption, and as a guardian for one of my nieces while her parents were unable to care for her, I know in my bones that children always want to be with their own parents and families. Nothing compares to the feeling of connection with your own flesh and blood.

I worry that that with the current “shortage” of babies “available” for adoption, the foster care system is being mined for children, and that poor families and children are being exploited just as they were in the 1950's, 60's and 70's.
