So true, Reverie. I’m always surprised when people don’t get this, but it does seem that some folks just dismiss other people. I’m hoping that the BLM protests are helping to bring a more nuanced understanding of criminal justice to the public in addition to bringing racist violence to the forefront of the national conscience.
